Fairway Golf Driving Range
Update — as of August 2011, the golf driving range in Pease Pottage appears to have closed down.
The owner of the Golf House buildings had leased the land that was occupied by the driving range. When the driving range and the associated small golf course closed, this land was sold, and in August 2012 the new owners applied for planning permission to construct a two-storey golf driving range.

In September 2013, the new owners of the land occupied by the driving range applied for planning permission to build “95 residential dwellings along with associated parking, access and open space”. The application was successful, and the new housing estate was built shortly afterwards.
The ownership of the Golf House buildings is entirely separate from that of the land for which planning permission has been sought.
Location and Directions
From the A23 or junction 11 of the M23, follow the signs into the village. The driving range is a couple of hundred yards past the Black Swan pub, on the right-hand side of the road.
More Golf in Pease Pottage
Pease Pottage also contains Cottesmore Golf and Country Club. Half a mile or so along the road to Colgate, Cottesmore Golf Club has two 18-hole courses, and is open to non-members.
